SKINNY TWIN CUBE BAND

(copyright 2012 Deborah Roberti)

Materials (for a 7-inch bracelet, not including clasp):
• 3 yards of 6 lb. FireLine
• About 250 size 11/0 seed beads: I used Miyuki Nickel 11-0464A.
• About 28 Color1 Twin beads: I used Teal Matte.
• About 28 Color2 Twin beads: I used Purple Matte.
• About 60 size 3mm cube beads: I used Matte Metallic Teal.
• clasp: Item #B0837-sgr-2 at Rishashay.com

Step 1: Thread your needle with 3 yards of FireLine.

Leaving about a 12-inch tail for attaching the clasp, string two cube beads and tie them together in a double knot so that they are sitting side by side:

Step 2: Go back up through the cube bead on the right (highlighted in RED):

Step 3: String another cube bead. Go around and up through the cube bead that you exited at the end of the last step (highlighted in RED):

Step 4: Go back down through the cube bead that you added in the last step (highlighted in RED):

Step 5: Go back around and up through the middle cube bead and then back down through the cube bead that you exited at the end of the last step (highlighted in RED):

Step 6: String another cube bead. Go around and down through the cube bead that you exited at the end of the last step (highlighted in RED):

Step 7: Go back around and up through the cube bead that you added in the last step and then back down through the cube bead that you exited at the end of the last step (highlighted
in RED):

Step 8: Go back up through the rightmost cube bead highlighted in RED:

You’ve just created a base row of four cube beads.

Step 9: String two seed beads, a Color1 Twin bead, two seed beads and two cube beads:

Step 10: Go around and back up through the first cube bead that you added in the last step (highlighted in RED) so that the two cube beads are sitting side by side:

Step 11: Go back around through the two cube beads highlighted in RED:

Step 12: Go back down through the left cube bead highlighted in RED:

Step 13: String a seed bead and a Color2 Twin bead. Go down through the left hole of the Color1Twin bead that you added in Step 9 (highlighted in RED):

Step 14: String a Color2 Twin bead and a seed bead. Go down through the third cube bead and then up through the second cube bead from the left in the row of four cube beads (highlighted in RED):

Step 15: String a seed bead. Go up through the left hole of the Color2 Twin bead highlighted in RED:

Step 16: String a Color1 Twin bead. Go up through the left hole of the Color2 Twin bead highlighted in RED:

Step 17: String a seed bead and a cube bead. Go around and down through the cube bead highlighted in RED:

Step 18: Go back up through the cube bead that you added in the last step (highlighted
in RED):

Step 19: Go back around through the two cube beads highlighted in RED:

Step 20: String a cube bead. Go around and up through the cube bead highlighted in RED, forming a second row of four cube beads:

Step 21: Go back around and down through the cube bead that you added in the last step and then back up through the cube bead that you exited at the end of the last step (both beads highlighted in RED):

Step 22: Go back down through the first cube bead highlighted in RED:

Step 23: String two seed beads, go down through the left hole of the Color1 Twin bead highlighted in RED, string two more seed beads and go down through the cube bead highlighted in RED:

Step 24: Weave your way up and down through the cube beads highlighted in RED so that you are exiting out of the top of the rightmost cube bead in the first row of four cube beads:

Step 25: Go up through the beads highlighted in RED so that you are exiting out of the top right cube bead in the top row of four cube beads:

Step 26: Repeat Step 9 to Step 25 until your bracelet is the length you want it, minus about a half inch and the length of your clasp:

Step 27: To attach one end of the clasp, string three seed beads. Go down through the third cube bead in the top row of four cube beads and then up the second cube bead (both beads highlighted in RED):

Step 28: String three seed beads and go down through the first cube bead in the top row of four cube beads (highlighted in RED):

Step 29: Go back up through the second cube bead in the row of cube beads and the seed bead (highlighted in RED):

Step 30: String three seed beads. Go through the clasp and then back down through the last seed bead that you just strung:

Step 31: String two seed beads. Go down through the seed bead and the third cube bead, and then up through the second cube bead and the seed bead highlighted in RED:

Step 32: Go back around through the beads highlighted in RED and the clasp several times:

Weave back into the bracelet, knot in several places and then cut your thread.

Step 33: To attach the clasp to the other end of your bracelet, thread your needle with the tail thread from Step 1.

Go around through the cube beads highlighted in RED so that you are exiting out of the top right cube bead:

Repeat Steps 27-32.
