Use size 11/0 and 8/0 Miyuki (rocaille) seed beads, 3mm and 8mm fire-polished beads, GemDuo (or DiamonDuo) beads and some optional drop beads to create this flower-shaped pendant that measures about 1.5 inches wide. With drop beads, the finished piece can also be beaded up as a small ornament. Detailed step-by-step directions from start to finish. Finishing Tips If you are creating an ornament and want a much stiffer motif, you can find more information and links to product information on my tip, How to Stiffen Beadwork, here: Beads used in my photos NOTE: Bead colors and coatings (and even bead types!) seem to be disappearing at a rate that I can no longer keep up with. I try to find substitutes when I can but "discontinued" seems to be the norm these days.
